Two items:
1. The IMLCC Rules and Administrative Procedures Committee has initiated the rulemaking process to create a new IMLC Bylaw, Article XII - Nominating Committee. The draft Bylaw is now out for Commissioner comments. An opportunity for public comment will be provided after the Commissioner comment period has concluded.
2. The Chair of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission has called for a Special Meeting of the Commission. The date of the meeting is Tuesday, August 27, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM Eastern. The meeting will be a virtual meeting with the agenda to be provided at least 10 days prior to the meeting. - = Compact Legislation Introduced (3 states fall under this category - MA, NY, NC)
- = IMLC Member State serving as State of Principal License (SPL) processing applications and issuing licenses (32 States, DC, and Guam fall under this category)*
- = IMLC Member State implementation mixed - MD Board is serving as SPL processing applications and issuing licenses - DO Board is serving as non-SPL issuing licenses only. (No states fall under this category)*
- = IMLC Member State non-SPL issuing licenses ONLY. (3 States fall under this category - AL, CT, VT)*
- = IMLC Passed; Implementation In Process or Delayed. (5 states fall under this category - FL, HI, MO, PA, RI)*
